How To Fix A Leak Under The Sink

If you find leaks under your sink, then watch this 1:30 minutes video to learn step by step how to fix it!

First you need to identify where the leak is coming from. Leaks could be coming from 1) water pipes or 2) waste pipe. Waste pipe - water could be leaking from the A) Bowl connection or B) the connection between any of the pipes of the waste pipe system.

In this video, I'll show you how to fix the leak from the bowl connection underneath the sink.

You can see here that the sealing ring has slipped out of its place.

Step 1: Turn the retaining nut in the anticlockwise direction to completely open it.

Step 2: Remove another connection in order to access the bottom of the bowl connection.

I removed this by simply pulling it out. For some connections, you'd need to first unscrew the retaining nut. To learn how to remove different types of connection, watch my other video, link in the description.

Step 3: Turn this screw in the anticlockwise direction by using your hands to loosen the bowl connection.

Step 4: Make sure the sealing ring is completely inside.

By using your hands push the sealing ring inside the bowl connection. Turn the screw in the clockwise direction to tighten it!

The reason for leak was because 1) the screw was loose and 2) caused the sealing ring to come out from one side.
