Spiralling BLUES - WOW! I love it! Open Cup Pour / Abstract Fluid Art Pour

I haven't done an open cup technique in a while but this one really WOW'd me! I love the composition of this and the details that emerged when the paint reacted with the base.

Tutorial Information and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

▶️Technique for this Tutorial: Open Cup

▶️Pouring Medium formula (unless otherwise stated in the video): My paints are mixed with paint, water and a pouring medium (Floetrol Owatrol) with a ratio of 1:1:3 - You may have to adjust your ratios depending on the paint brands you use.

Note: Floetrol Owatrol is thicker than the US version of Flood Floetrol so you might not need the water element when mixing your paints.

▶️Cell Activator: When I use a cell activator, I use Australian Floetrol and Titanium White with the ratio of 4:1 - You can experiment with other alternatives like Silicone Oil, Vegetable glycerin, pre-stain wood conditioner or even just paint and water.

▶️Color Palette for this Creation:
Amsterdam: Neutral Grey, Sky Blue Light, Prussian Blue, Ultramarine, Lamp Black.
Pebeo: Iridescent Silver, Gold and Copper.

▶️Hair dryer: When I use a hair dryer I use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting and the lowest blow speed.
