Sew Easy: English Paper Piecing (EPP) Basics | Using La Vie en Rose by Pat Bravo

Today we’re going to create a beautiful block using English Paper Piecing (EPP) techniques to create this intricate 6 pointed star design. Using a simple diamond template you can create this basic EPP block and transform a simple print into a textural design. Slow down your sewing practice and relax as you create this vibrant block.

It all started with an infinite love for design that paved the pathway for a wonderful history of beautiful fabrics. La Vie en Rose tells the story of her artistry and brings them together harmoniously through what is Pat’s signature color — pink

For this project we’ll be using romantic bohemian prints from La Vie en Rose by Pat Bravo. Don’t forget to like this video and subscribe to the AGF channel for more crafty sewing content.

Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
(Fabric A) (6) Templates* of TRB1005 Trinkets One
(Fabric B) (6) Templates* of TRB1007 Trojkat One
Paper Templates
Small Scissors
Applique Needle (#10 big eye)
Thread (50-80 wt. Polyester)
Rotary Cutter
Glue stick (water soluble)
Heat erasable pen or marking tool
Clips

*With this EPP technique you will cut the 6 pieces of each fabric from exactly the same place, using the template with an additional ¼” -⅜” seam allowance.
