Small fleet owner Todd Scruggs, out of Camden, Arkansas, bought this 1982 Peterbilt 359 in 2012. It had previously been a West Texas oilfield truck. When Scruggs took ownership of the unit, it was inoperable. It sat for 11 years before he started the rebuild in 2023. The truck's powered by a Caterpillar C18 marine engine to preserve the old-school unit with modern controls for power and efficiency. Scruggs started out wanting to paint it green and black, but once he had the colors together, he wasn't a big fan, so he switched it up to add the off-white stripes with metallic gold breaker stripes. It "kind of looked like money, looked like a dollar bill," he said, hence the rig's nickname.
Scruggs did almost the entire rebuild on his own, except for the interior, including the paint and body work, as he explains in this video.
Scruggs had the rig out at the 2025 Shell Rotella SuperRigs working truck show at Atlanta Motor Speedway, where it took home first place in the Classic Division. Scruggs said after that show, the truck was going to work in his land-clearing business.
