Photinia Red Robin is an evergreen plant with glossy vibrant green leaves and red tips. Photinia red robin can planted from pots all year round and give colour and texture in your garden even in Winter. Photinia Red Robin responds well to pruning and trimming, which actually encourages growth and bushiness into the plant for a thicker hedge.
Photinia red robins can be grown as a hedge, topiary in half or quarter standards, as in the video, or as shrubs in a pot at the front door or in shrub beds.
It’s incredibly versatile and will give great colour all year round. Photinia Red Robin should be protected from the wind for the driest few years until the hedge has been established.
