After Ghetsis arrives to 'retrieve' his comrades, Clay allows Hilbert and Cheren to challenge the Gym. After some time spent doing some training, the former heads inside, ready to battle for the next Gym Badge.
Clay, the Underground Boss:
This man, having seen Hilbert's skills in locating the hideaways from Team Plasma, is eager to see him in action, wanting to know what it is about him that makes him special.
Krokorok:
Clay's greeting card is the Desert Croc Pokémon, Krokorok. It knows Swagger, Torment, Crunch, and Bulldoze.
Palpitoad:
The next Pokémon in Clay's roster is Palpitoad. This one is part Water-type, and is pretty bulky, too. It can use Aqua Ring, Muddy Water, BubbleBeam, and Bulldoze.
Excadrill:
The last Pokémon that Clay uses is Excadrill, the evolved form of Drilbur. It is part Steel-type, which gives it some coverage against Grass-type attacks. It also has Hone Claws, Slash, Rock Slide, and Bulldoze in its arsenal.
