Here's a clip from the mid-1980s featuring the Marc Pruett Band on The Nashville Network's "Fire On the Mountain," an early cable TV series hosted by David Holt. Recorded on tape at The Stompin' Ground in Maggie Valley, NC.
David says "During the 1980s and '90s The Marc Pruett Band was one of the finest bluegrass bands in North Carolina. What a group!"
Studio tapes of this series have been lost to history, so all we have is David's mother's VCR recordings. There's a bit of "Train 45" at the end of the clip before the program unaccountably cut to a commercial.
