Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

Hello Everyone, today we are going to visit Grand Canyon national park. The main attraction of this park is the Grand Canyon, which is a gorge of the Colorado River, and is often considered one of the Wonders of the World.

Grand Canyon national park is really big, it covers around 5 thousands squre kms.
Today we will go to few places from North Rim to South Rim in this park.

We stayed at Flagstaff city for the night, then in the morning we drove to Grand Canyon national park.
The parks entrance fee is 35 dollars for a week. This fee covers unlimited entry for 7 days and also bus ride in the park. There are few parking places from North Rim to South Rim. During busy time, the parking lots get full so you can also take the bus ride.

We started from the discovery centre in this park then went to Mather point. The this is most viewed piont as its the closest to discovery centre.

The beauty of Grand Canyon national park is beyond comparison and beyond description. In this park we walked through few trails, drove to few places and also took bus ride. So stay with us and lets explore the Grand Canyon national park together.

Yaki Point is the only scenic viewpoint on Desert View Drive that is not accessible with a private vehicle. It can be reached using the free shuttle bus, departing from Grand Canyon Visitor Center.

Grandview Point is approximately 2,250 meters above sea level, making it one of the highest points along the South Rim. From Grandview Point, we can see vast expanses of the canyon, including the Colorado River and the layers of colorful rock that reveal the geological history of the area.

Mohave Point offers a spectacular west view, and one of the better views of the Colorado River.

Hermits Rest is an iconic and historic stop, at the end of Hermit Road, and the Rim Trail. It also serves as the gateway to magnificent backcountry hiking trails that starts from the Hermit Trail, a steeply winding path into the canyon. Hermits Rest was built to resemble an old miner's cabin with native stonework, a giant alcove fireplace, and front porch. It presently offers a gift shop, snack bar, and west end views of Grand Canyon.
