George Martin defending the legacy of the Beatles while promoting Beatles Anthology.
A press conference was held in London on November 20, 1995 regarding the release of Beatles Anthology 1 and the release of Free As a Bird and its music video. Representing the Beatles/Apple were Derek Taylor, Neil Aspinall, Jeff Lynne and George Martin. They were supposed to answer the questions posed to them by the approx 400 reporters in attendance. Some questions were pretty good, but many were not. George Martin stepped up to explain what a historic event this was in his own inimitable way. But I think the reporters still didn't get it.
