స్వర్గారోహణ యాత్ర ఇది పాండవుల నరకయాతన, పాండవులు చేసిన చివరి అంతిమయాత్ర. భారతీయ ఇతిహాసం మహాభారతంలోని 18 పర్వాలలో 17,18 పర్వాలు అయినటువంటి మహాప్రస్థానిక పర్వం స్వర్గారోహణం పర్వాలు పాండవులు తమ అంతిమయాత్రలో చేసిన ప్రయాణాన్ని మరియు చివరికి మేరు పర్వతం మీద స్వర్గానికి వెళ్లి మార్గాన్ని వివరిస్తుంది. తమ రాజ్య బాధ్యతలు తమ వారికి అప్పగించి పాండవులు ద్రౌపది కలసి తమ అంతిమయాత్ర అయినటువంటి స్వర్గారోహణ యాత్రకు బయలుదేరుతారు. ఈ యాత్రలో ధర్మరాజు మినహా ఒకరి తరువాత ఒకరు అందరూ నరకయాతన అనుభవిస్తూ మరణిస్తారు. దీనికి కారణం వారి జీవితంలో ధర్మానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా చేసిన కొన్ని పనులు. ధర్మరాజు ధర్మాన్ని కచ్చితంగా పాటించడం వలన సజీవంగా స్వర్గానికి వెళ్లగలిగాడు.
