Cinderella - Full Story & Read-Along Script
Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there lived a kind and gentle girl named Cinderella. She lived with her wicked stepmother and two stepsisters, who made her do all the chores. While they wore fancy dresses and attended grand events, Cinderella had to stay behind, dreaming of a better life. One day, the king announced a grand ball at the palace. "Every young lady is invited," he declared. Cinderella was thrilled! "May I go too?" she asked. But her stepmother laughed. "You? Go to the ball? You have nothing to wear!" she sneered. Her stepsisters mocked her and left Cinderella feeling heartbroken.

As Cinderella wept, a magical light filled the room. It was her Fairy Godmother! "Do not cry, dear child," she said. "You shall go to the ball!" With a wave of her wand, she turned a pumpkin into a sparkling carriage, mice into handsome horses, and gave Cinderella a dazzling gown and glass slippers. "But remember, the magic will fade at midnight!" warned the Fairy Godmother. At the palace, everyone admired the mysterious princess. The prince was enchanted by Cinderella and danced with her all evening. But as the clock struck midnight, she had to run! In her haste, she left behind one glass slipper.

The next day, the prince searched for the girl who fit the slipper. When he arrived at Cinderella’s home, her stepsisters tried to squeeze their feet into the shoe, but it did not fit. Then Cinderella stepped forward. The slipper fit perfectly! "It’s you!" the prince exclaimed joyfully. He took Cinderella to the palace, and they lived happily ever after. And so, Cinderella’s kindness and patience led to her wonderful new life. Remember, being kind and never giving up can bring great things your way!
