The Titanic Guarantee Group was sent by shipbuilders Harland & Wolff to accompany the Titanic; to record the performance and iron out any problems that the ship may encounter.
Alfie Cunningham and William Campbell were two such members of the group, chosen by designer Thomas Andrews to take part in the ships maiden voyage.
Two young men, these 'Titanic Boys' sailing on a dream of their making, never contemplated Titanic sinking in their wildest dreams, but when the journey of a lifetime turned into a nightmare, few would have felt the loss like these wide-eyed Belfast boys.
