Autobody repair on the roof on my Volkswagen Beetle.

In this episode (33) of my Volkswagen Beetle restoration, I dive into some bodywork on the rear of the car. While working, I ran into a little issue — the exhaust tips were in the way. I tried unbolting them, but they wouldn’t budge, so I ended up cutting them off. Not a big deal since I’m planning to replace the exhaust anyway.

I also got started sanding the roof with 320-grit to prep it for primer, and along the way, I found a shallow dent up top. I went ahead and repaired that. Then I moved to the passenger rear quarter panel. Finished sanding down the body filler, and smoothed the whole panel out with 320 as well.
