Steve Ritchie, King of Flow, visits the Dutch Pinball Museum

Op donderdag 20 november hadden we koninklijk bezoek—letterlijk bijna.De King of Flow, Steve Ritchie, was te gast in ons museum. Als je het hebt over belangrijke namen in de pinball­industrie, dan staat Steve absoluut in de top.

We hebben Steve (én jou) meegenomen door het museum. Onderweg kwamen de verhalen vanzelf:
• over wie als eerste Pac-Man speelde in de VS,
• waarom Parijs ooit naar paardenpoep rook,
• we keken samen geweldige pinball muziekvideo’s,
• én we kregen flipperles van de meester zelf—op zijn eigen kasten.

En natuurlijk hoor je wat hij van ons museum vindt…

Wil je Steve zelf ontmoeten?Op 22 en 23 november 2025 is het DPO (Dutch Pinball Open) in Veldhoven. Daar is Steve aanwezig en vertelt hij ongetwijfeld nog veel meer prachtige verhalen. Wij zijn daar ook te vinden als Dutch Pinball Museum.

On Thursday, November 20, we had what you could call a royal visit.The King of Flow, Steve Ritchie, stopped by our museum. If you’re talking about the most influential people in the pinball industry, Steve is definitely at the top of the list.

We guided Steve (and you) through the museum, and the stories just kept coming:
• about who played Pac-Man first in the U.S.,
• why Paris once smelled like horse manure,
• we watched some classic pinball music videos together,
• and we even got a pinball lesson from the master himself — on his own machines.

And of course, you’ll hear what he thinks of our museum…
