In this class, the model of a wavy pen holder is created using Rhino software: First, based on a rounded triangle (with a side length of 10mm and a fillet radius of 3.5mm), the curve is rebuilt, then copied and rotated by 60 degrees to form an interlaced array. A wavy surface is generated through lofting. For the vertical stripe part, the UV unwrapping technique is adopted. The square bar array is flowed onto the surface and cut through Boolean operations to create a three-dimensional stripe effect. Finally, the structure is optimized by offsetting the surface (with a thickness of 0.4mm), combining through Boolean operations, and rounding the edges. This tutorial focuses on demonstrating the techniques of generating wavy surfaces, deforming surfaces through flowing, and performing complex Boolean operations. It is suitable for learners who want to improve their ability in designing irregular structures after mastering basic surface modeling.
