It was George R. R. Martin’s first time in Oxford, and he was supposed to share the stage with our own Sir Philip Pullman. Unfortunately Sir Philip was very ill the day before and couldn’t come. But GRRM answered fan questions, signed autographs, posed for selfies, and I made it into the organiser's Instagram...
