TRANSITION FINISHING

For ball handlers, the ability to create “rim pressure” in transition is crucial⬇️

1: It’s a great time to get an easy bucket. You’ll usually have some sort of advantage in Transition… whether that’s a numbers advantage or just the defense being scrambled. You’ll have more space to get in the lane to make a play than you’d usually have in the half court… PLUS the ability to get a full head of steam towards the rim

2: Even if you don’t score, pushing the pace & attacking the rim in transition will put pressure on the defense to collapse & protect the paint… this will open up kick out passes to your trailing teammates for a wide open 3 in transition (one of the BEST times to shoot a 3)
