As a 14 yr old in 1995 who had just picked up the guitar for the first time and started struming strings & writing songs, these 3 Australian kids were my age, they wrote deep lyrics with hard melodic riffs, reminiscent of the recently lost Kurt Cobain & Nirvana, and were no doubt my biggest single musical influence as a newly aspiring adolecent rockstar. They took the world by storm and their debut album “Frogstomp” went double platinum. It’s still worthy of a listen if your unfamiliar or it’s been a while.
