Blended Learning with Station Rotations Intermediate Grades 3 - 5

Video features two fourth grade teachers and their different models of blended learning with station rotations. Ms. Dianne Huot, a departmentalized 4th grade teacher has three 90 minute periods of ELA. Implementation time so far 1 week. She talks about how she has just started using blended learning with station rotation. The video was taken on Day 2 of full implementation. She has two 30 minute rotations four days a week. A teacher-led station, a personalized online station using iReady, an independent station for comprehension and fluency practice, a creation/collaboration station for projects, and a teacher-led small group station.
Ms. Beth Martin is a the second teacher featured in the video. She has a self contained fourth grade class at Desert Palms, where she uses five stations - technology, teacher-led, vocabulary, writing, and comprehension. Imagine Learning is the digital program being used in their pilot that was launched in January, 2017. Implementation time so far 8 weeks.
