Pakistan Applauds Diplomatic Momentum for Peace in Eastern DRC, Welcomes Key International Agreements ! #UNSC #UnitedNations

Pakistan welcomes the recent diplomatic momentum aimed at achieving peace in the eastern DRC. We appreciate Qatar for facilitating the Doha Framework between the DRC Government and M23. We also welcome the United States leadership in facilitating the Washington Agreement, signed on 4 December 2025, as a historic step toward regional de-escalation and improved relations between the DRC and Rwanda. Pakistan further commends the African Union–led process under the mediation of Togo, which seeks to harmonize the Luanda and Nairobi tracks into a coherent African-led framework.

پاکستان نے مشرقی کانگو میں امن کے لیے سفارتی پیش رفت کو سراہا، اہم بین الاقوامی معاہدوں کا خیرمقدم کیا

پاکستان نے مشرقی جمہوریہ کانگو (DRC) میں امن قائم کرنے کی حالیہ سفارتی کوششوں کو خوش آئند قرار دیا۔ پاکستان نے قطر کی اس کوشش کو سراہا جس نے DRC حکومت اور M23 کے درمیان دوحہ فریم ورک کو سہولت فراہم کی۔ اسی طرح پاکستان نے امریکہ کی قیادت میں ہونے والے واشنگٹن معاہدے (4 دسمبر 2025 کو طے پایا) کا بھی خیرمقدم کیا، جسے علاقائی کشیدگی کم کرنے اور DRC اور روانڈا کے تعلقات بہتر بنانے کے لیے تاریخی قدم قرار دیا۔

مزید برآں، پاکستان نے افریقی یونین کے زیر قیادت عمل کو بھی سراہا، جس کی میڈییشن ٹوگو کر رہا ہے اور جس کا مقصد لوانڈا اور نائیروبی کے اقدامات کو ایک مربوط افریقی قیادت والے فریم ورک میں ضم کرنا ہے۔
