OBSCURIST TOURIST 042 - The Bowmanville POW camp also known as Camp 30 was a Canadian-run POW camp for German soldiers during World War II. It housed over 880 high-ranking German officers from the Luftwaffe, Wehrmact, and Kreigsmarine. Located in the small community of Clarington, Ontario on former farmland, the camp was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 2003.
