IVF و PGD چیست؟

IVF یک فرآیند تلقیح مصنوعی است که در آن تخمک و اسپرم در محیط آزمایشگاهی تلقیح می‌شوند. سپس جنین‌های تشکیل شده به رحم منتقل می‌شوند. این روش برای زوجینی که به دلیل مشکلات باروری نمی‌توانند به طور طبیعی باردار شوند، یا دیگر روش‌های درمانی برای آنها نتیجه نمی‌دهد، استفاده می‌شود.

PGD یا تشخیص ژنتیکی پیش از تلقیح، یک فرآیند تشخیصی است که قبل از انتقال جنین به رحم در IVF انجام می‌شود. در این فرآیند، یک سلول از جنین برای آزمایش ژنتیکی برداشت می‌شود تا بررسی شود که آیا جنین دارای بیماری ژنتیکی خاصی است یا خیر. این فرآیند به زوجین کمک می‌کند تا جنین‌های سالم را انتخاب کرده و جلوی انتقال بیماری‌های ژنتیکی به نسل بعدی را بگیرند.

IVF, or In Vitro Fertilization, is an assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedure in which eggs are fertilized with sperm outside the body in a laboratory. The fertilized eggs (embryos) are then transferred to the uterus. This method is used for couples who are unable to conceive naturally due to fertility issues or when other treatment methods have been unsuccessful.

PGD, or Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis, is a diagnostic procedure performed before embryo transfer in IVF. In this process, a cell is removed from the embryo for genetic testing to determine whether the embryo carries a specific genetic disease or not. This helps couples select healthy embryos and prevent the transmission of genetic diseases to the next generation.
