HAPPY (late) BIRTHDAY KENZA!!!

I’m so awesome at making late birthday videos lol… Anyway, I hope you had a fantastic birthday, and even though it’s late I hope you’ll like this! I wanted to do something special, and I thought a Captain Smoak video for the Captain Smoak queen would be fitting ♥ Even though we don’t talk that much, I love reading all the lovely comments you leave on my videos and I love watching yours, and I’m just really happy to have “met” you!! ♥

PLOT:

At first this wasn’t supposed to have an actual story, I was just trying to follow the lyrics. But once it got really angsty I had to figure out a reason for it cuz if there’s one thing I hate it’s drama for the sake of drama without any good reason why. So Felicity is afraid to fully open herself to love and trust because everyone in her life abandoned her, but she’s trying her best to put the past in the past and move forward with Killian (btw this is modern-day-AU-Killian, not the 300-year-old-pirate-Killian). However, she’s still struggling with insecurities and pulling away. Meanwhile Killian has his own tortured past that is now coming back to haunt him when he gets pulled back into his old gang and Felicity finds out that he’s lied to her. So this just confirms all her fears and she breaks off their engagement. She also discovers the depth of his lies when she finds out that he’s a criminal (or was a criminal, cuz he served his jail time and when he got out he vowed to be better). More angst ensues. Eventually Killian explains everything to her and apologizes as they’re sitting in a car, but then they get rear-ended by a truck, hit a pole, and Killian goes out the windshield since he doesn’t have his seatbelt on (psa: wear your seatbelt! And yes this scene is from The Vow lol). Felicity goes to see him in the hospital and apologizes for being a hypocrite, because they’ve both just been trying to escape their pasts and she understands why he lied to her. And following the pattern of all my OTP’s they have a second engagement and finally get married. Yay happy ending!

But seriously, the second engagement thing - Frary, Captain Swan, Olicity, and Westallen - that’s 4 out of my top 5 OTP’s! I don’t think that’s happening for Bellarke though ahaha

Upcoming videos (probably):

I finally found a song that I want to use for #10 in my top 10 ships project, so hopefully I'll get started on those before the end of the year.

Other than that, there's a ship I haven't vidded yet that I recently got inspired to vid, and also you can expect some Bellarke videos, especially once we get the trailer and as we get closer to season 5.

I kind of wanted to vid Westallen (or even Westallen+Olicity) because of the amazing scenes we got, but I just don't have much inspiration for them lately :/
