My trips to the extreme borders and remote glacial lakes have often been nightmarish. Several times I've been stuck on high passes overnight...
Finally this year I bought this 4X4 Maruti Jimny, my first car ever (I don't buy cars)... to liberate myself from these fears.
Recently, due to some deadlines, I had to travel from Chennai in south India to Daulat Beg Oldie, India's northernmost military airfield in 24 hours...
After landing at Leh Airport this 'Made in India' car took us through some 1,200 Km along extreme borders in extreme conditions in Ladakh.
