the Kibune-Kurama Trail offers the best of Kyoto's nature.

From the lush forests and peaceful streams to the famous Kurama Temple
and the charming Kibune Village,
every step of this hike brings you closer to the heart of Kyoto’s countryside.

Plus, the entire experience has an almost magical quality
that feels reminiscent of Studio Ghibli vibes—a true nature lover’s paradise.

Start point: Kibune-guchi Station on the Eizan Train Line
