The opening scene to Season 2 Episode 1: Reunion Part 1
Jock and Miss Ellie play a quiet game, J.R. makes a recorded memo, Sue Ellen does a crossword puzzle, Lucy relaxes and Bobby and Pam swim in the pool. Pam blames Jock for Digger cutting her off. When Sue Ellen talk to Lucy about the cattle auction, Miss Ellie remembers when her daddy used to take her and how her family’s livestock was the best in the state. Jock starts to realize how good it is to be with livestock. The family turns silent when Miss Ellie mentions Gary which makes Lucy wonders why.
Note: This is the first scene of the Southfork ranch and the pool which remains for the duration of the series.
