I've been to shoe factories all over the world but In the city formerly known as Madras, Bridlen uses at least five techniques I'd never seen before: lining without glue, lasting without pulling, combining leather and steel shanks, and this hybrid Goodyear welt/ hand welt that made me have a total mental breakdown when I saw it happening in real life.
