So...We did it, a showdown between 2 of the biggest Tuners in the willy waving Fiesta world. Peron (AET) vs MAXD (Laird Performance) go head to head in a battle of power, speed and timing.
The Fiesta Scene is very much full of people willy waving figures and arguing over which tuner is better. Ultimately it depends on so many factors, what Dyno was used, where you live in relation to each tuner and what customer service they offer. Personally Laird Performance customer service is second to none and the software they use is dam right great for a stage 2 ST.
Me and Jason decided on using an independent Dyno who isn't familiar with the Fiesta ST world so we can try and make the most fair results. HP on both ends was low but torque was high due to the Dyno run being done in 5th but none the less i was certainly happy and Jason was a little sad, poor Jason.
We started off with 10-60mph timed pulls due to the GPS app we were using was registering revving to launch as movement. We then went on to the Dyno where we did 3 runs each at Ecotech up in Buckely, North Wales. We then went on to do some pulls followed by a timed 30 to 70mph run.
