The isolated pawn has a rough reputation, and let's face it, sometimes it can be a pain to play with. In this video, however, I show a few examples where the pawn proves to be a true strength. I discuss the various strategies to use while playing with an isolated pawn using three candidates games, one a classic from 1959 and two from the most recent one in Toronto.
