Introduction:
In this video series, I present all the handpans I own, along with some from my friends. I aim to give each handpan the same structured presentation, including playing the scale, demonstrating some chords, and finishing with a free solo. The audio is unedited (raw).
My opinion:
At first, this Handpan has a deep scale—not extremely deep, but moderately deep. The sound is very clear and long-lasting because it is made of stainless steel. The scale is very special; it is mostly a standard Amara scale, but one or two notes have been slightly altered. The idea comes from Daniel Waples himself, so the scale is called "Amara by Waples."
The melodies I create on this handpan are mostly quite melancholic yet powerful. I like this handpan very much, but I cannot play a wide variety of melodies.
