Attack on Titan - Cosplay Build - Sword

In this video I will show you how I built a box cutter blade from Attack on Titan. This was build using only a rectangular wooden dowel, Cf100 Craft Foam, and Craft Clay from poly props. (For links to products see below.)

I hope you enjoy this video and I hope that you find it useful if you decide to try and build your own. This was a relatively small build and is great for people just starting out with crafting.

I would like to take this moment to talk about this particular video. Honestly, this video is not my best. I have had lots of things go wrong, files corrupting, voice overs disappearing, exporting failing and it has been very frustrating. I am not 100% happy with this video, I think I can do better. I almost didn’t post it. However, this is the perfect opportunity to talk about how things aren’t always perfect.

This is something I feel so strongly about as we are all learning, all the time. Part of this channel is sharing when things go wrong, showing things that aren’t perfect or exactly how you want them to be, because that’s how you learn and that’s how others learn too.
So as I was about to banish this video to my bin, I thought, ‘how can I claim to promote the positivity in imperfections if I don’t share my own mistakes!’ I know this video is not awful, however, I also know that I can do better, not just in the video but in the final product too.
There are pieces of the video that corrupt a little bit, some of the footage is not my best, and the final product has areas I would improve upon, but I hope to use this video to help me learn and be better for next time, and if it makes at least one person to give it a go then it has served its purpose.
