In 2013 Epcot’s Food & Wine Festival presented by Chase ran from Sept. 27 to Nov. 11. During week 6 the New York City based Spin Doctors made their Food & Wine debut. After them Christopher Cross made his Food & Wine debut as well. Cross has returned to Epcot many times since then, but the Spin Doctors did not return. The concert was held at the American Gardens Theater. The showtimes were 5:30pm, 6:45pm, and 8:00pm. I can tell by the sunlight in this video that it was not the 8pm show. Chris Barron sang the lead vocals with Eric Shenkman on guitar, Mark White on bass, and Aaron Comess on drums. This video, recorded by Mrs. Share a Dream, features the 1991 hit song “Two Princes”.

The Spin Doctors originated in New York City near the end of the 80s. The band’s original name, Trucking Company, had harmonicist John Popper in it, but he left and worked with Blues Traveler. The name was changed to Spin Doctors in the early 90s and it had guitarist Eric Shenkman, Mark White on bass, Aaron Comess on drums, and Chris Barron on lead vocals. All these guys are in this video. In 2022 Mark White was no longer in the band and Jack Daley took over on bass. Their 1991 album Pocket Full of Kryptonite had two Billboard Hot 100 hits “Two Princes” and “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong”. After 12 years of not releasing an album, in 2025 the Spin Doctors released Face Full of Cake. They still do concerts today, even though they never returned to Epcot. They are known for giving lengthy concerts, so maybe they didn’t like the 30 minute time limit.
