The Reolink GO PT runs off a nano sim card, you can check this link here to see what carrier is supported in your country: https://reolink.com/product/reolink-g...
I’ve been using this camera for the past 3 weeks now and it’s impressive, even more so than the original fixed Reolink GO. The Pan and Tilt function works really well, the motion alerts are accurate, I’ve had no false alerts which is a big improvement over the first POE Reolink cameras I used a few years ago.
When the Solar Panel is connected with good sun exposure the battery will never go down, if you disconnect the solar panel, I’ve had around 2 weeks of life from it before I’ve had to charge it again.
A few screws and a drill, you can mount it literally anywhere in a couple of minutes.
It’s very simple to set up, just follow the instructions in box. The longest set up time was paying for the Nano Sim Card by Vodafone, you do this by downloading the V Sim App on your phone and scanning the code on the plastic card you get.
Once you’ve paid for the Vodafone sim, you install it in your camera alongside your Micro SD storage card and turn it on. The Vodafone Sim is unlimited data!
Download the Reolink app on your phone and press the + symbol top right, scan the QR code on your camera. You should then be able to set up your Reolink GO.
(You don’t have to use Vodafone, you can use other carriers that are supported in your country, I’ve previously used EE).
That’s it! I currently have it set up in the woods capturing all sorts of wildlife however I’ll be moving it soon to be mounted on the newly built chicken pen to keep a look out for foxes. You can check out some photos on Instagram, I’ll start posting them soon @MoneyMakingExpert.
If you have any questions please leave them in the comments below, as I did for the last video I’ll try and answer every single one.
