After playing 40 hours of Veilguard, finishing all companion quests and completing the main story, I have to say it’s the weakest game in the series. Veilguard ultimately feels like a husk of Dragon Age’s former glory - shambling through this cruel, cold world of AAA gaming in 2024 in search of its next victim.

It’s a tragedy of wasted potential that fails to match the dark fantasy tone that we know as Dragon Age… But is the game completely irredeemable?

In this video, I’m going to do a deep dive critique on The Veilguard, comparing it with past entries in the Dragon Age series as well as some contemporary titles like Baldur’s Gate 3.

There will be a ton of spoilers in this video - mostly in the later parts where we touch on the story. But I’ll give you a heads up when I start talking about that stuff.
