$20 Makeup Challenge in 2025 💄 Is this even possible anymore?

If you loved makeup videos in 2013, this one’s for you! I wanted to see if I could do the $20 Makeup Challenge Tag in 2025, and I successfully did it (twice)! With prices going up, makeup trends shifting, and our expectations rising as far as what makeup can look like and contain, I thought the days of cheap but exciting $1 E.L.F makeup were far behind me. This was a fun trip down memory lane with some nostalgic products that have stood the test of time, but also a new way to find some inexpensive hidden gems!

This is some great drugstore makeup, with products I’d recommend regardless of your budget. Two of my favorite foundations/skin tints make an appearance, a couple of travel-friendly eyeshadow palettes, and a mascara that is so affordable and so good! Did you ever try the $20 Makeup Challenge?

Wet n’ Wild Mega Glo Lip & Cheek Color, Rosy Romance (I love this product now, it’s a light, natural blush and so easy to work with as someone who doesn’t use a ton of cream products! Didn’t like it as a lip gloss but great as a blush.)
