a sad andrew minyard playlist (all for the game-aftg)

here's a sad andrew playlist from all for the game. I tried to make the songs chronologically show his story more or less. I hope someone enjoys this.

1.cradle-paris paloma: This song seems like how he felt while he was with Cass, and him coming to the realization of not ever being able to have motherly love in his life. Also yeah I think this song might actually fit better with Aaron, but in any case, considering I don’t have a playlist for aaron, it very much fits the twinyards in general.

Stop just these two parts alone make me want to cry. he also definitely feels like he can’t love like anybody wants him to…

2. This is home-cavetown: “The I’ll figure out a way to get us out of here” line really seemed to me like Andrew trying to get Aaron out of Tilda’s abuse. And yeah honestly the lines “get a load of this monster” is really andrew coded. So this is essentially the song to represent him in the time before he kills Tilda.

3. my mind (now)-paris paloma: okay so I mainly put this song here because of the “what did I do wrong” repeating part. I thought this song can somewhat demonstrate him getting in trouble after beating up the people who hurt Nicky.

4.wake me up-anya nami: this song represents when he gets on the medication, hence “wake me up”

5. ur so pretty- wasia project: andrew may not admit it but like tell me he doesn’t feel like this during the books. Also I feel like it might capture how he feels when he doesn’t know if Neil is safe when he’s taken by Lola (even though with that interpretation it wouldn’t really be chronological so nevermind)

6. unattractive-Sofia Isella: I kind of added this song last minute cause I had to take out songs due to copyright (sharpener by cavetown and why even try by hippo campus if you're curious). I thought it suited what happened during the thanksgiving arc. It definitely has a darker vibe than the other songs in the playlist, but strangely enough I thought it sounded calm enough to fit the vibes of the other songs. Pretty much almost all of the lyrics apply to Andrew in this song, but I feel like these in particular (especially with the mention of a "fox") seemed to really fit that scene.

7.stay- the people’s thieves: pretty much andrew telling neil to stay during the boston arc. yay another traumatic arc~

"I told Neil to stay," Andrew said. "Leave Nathaniel buried in Baltimore with his father.”

lyrics from song:“Stay/ When you feel afraid/ Where you are is where I’ll always go” which tell me that isn’t andrew…you can’t

8.fever dream acoustic version-mxmtoon: it’s my playlist and i get to end happily okay.

“i want something more than
more than restless morning’s
getting by, so boring”

Andrew gets to heal and grow on with Neil and the foxes, and he gets more than just getting by in his life and gains a purpose okay. I had to end this happily, too much pain.
