Palestinian national team player Ahmad Alqaq praises the "amazing" atmosphere during a symbolic friendly against the Basque Country in Spain. The Palestinian side lost 3-0 but the players say the game was about much more than just the score with each one of them carrying a white rose onto the pitch to honour the children who have died in the Gaza war. "At the end of the day it is a political game, the message got spread," Alqaq said.
