Where is Tarshish of the bible? Jonah flees there when Hashem orders him to Nineveh. Noah had a grandson named "Tarshish". King Solomon had ships especially made for Tarshish. The Prophet Ezekiel tells us of great quantities of metals at Tarshish. Isaiah mentions Tarshish many times as well. To this day, Jews say "Tarshish" every Monday during the Psalm for the Day. So many references ... but no one knows where it is!? Believe it or not, there is no consensus on the actual location of this famous "Tarshish". We're going to jump into this biblical mystery and see if we can make any discoveries of our own!
