Rust has hammered our outdoor garlic plants again and the wet weather isn't helping, so I am forced to lift them. It is a pity, as the plants were doing great before the rust - fortunately, this variety has rather large cloves so even though the bulbs are on the small side, the individual cloves will be a reasonable size.
