This is a tutorial I did for one of my subscribers who asked how to create a 10-fold rosette / 10-point star. It's definitely best watched in HD and you'll probably want to pause each screen to check exactly where the intersections are.
The 10-point star is based around a multiple of 5 - so a pentagon. The pentagon is a bit fiddly to create so this one isn't as simple as a 6, 8 or 12 fold star. I learnt this from Eric Broug's wonderful book, 'Islamic Geometric Design' - it's a wealth of knowledge and something I refer to very often when working in this form.
