Crate Training - How To Get Your Dog Out of The Crate

This is the BEST way to get your dog out of the crate! 🐶🏠

1st Step: get down to the crate's level and put your knee in front of the door. This prevents the door from flinging open and your dog making a break for it ❌

2nd Step: grab your leash (we're using a slip leash and highly recommend it) and put it on your dog 🦮

3rd Step: open the crate door fully and allow your dog to make a decision to come out calmly. If they're hesitant, you can use a tiny bit of leash tension to guide them out! ✅

If they're too excited and energetic, put them back into the crate and do it again. Not to say that being excited is a bad thing but for training purposes, you want to encourage the calm behavior over the excited behavior 🐕

4th step: put them in walking mode until you reach your potty destination! 🐩💨💩
