In this video, I'll be assembling a wooden play gym that I bought from China. How crazy is that? if you were to ask me just a couple of years ago, I would never thought that I would be buying such a large item and have shipped all the way from China.
I'll just answer the question that everybody is thinking now. The play gym cost RM697 plus RM80 for shipping. So total cost is RM 777(around USD 200). Placed the order on 26 Dec 2020 and received the item on the 22nd Jan 2021, just shy of a month.
To be fair, the seller did clearly said that delivery of the item takes around 30 days. The seller also maintained a constant contact, updating the progress the order through the platform chat function. Good job!
The courier also handled the item nicely. One of my big worries was that the item may get damaged in shipping. I mean, we all know how some courier treat large and heavy boxes, right?
The item arrived safely with barely any damage to the boxes. Kudos!
Assembling the item is not difficult. The included instructions, despite being in Chinese is relatively easy to follow. Assembling the play gym doesn't require much tools. You can literally assemble the thing with the included screw driver and nothing else. I used a power tool because I'm lazy😅
It took about 1 hour to completely assemble.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the purchase. My kids loved it, especially now with the movement control order has been reinstituted in Malaysia. At least they can release their pent up energies. If you're looking for something like this, I definitely recommend buying from this seller.
