Mayurakshi River is also called the lifeline of Jharkhand. We went to meet people in Santal villages on the banks of this river. In this sequence of meeting, one day a great time was spent with them on the river bank. These tribals hunted the bird with a slingshot and cooked it there. The taste of this meat cooked on the banks of the river was better than the food of any five star hotel.
मयूराक्षी नदी को झारखंड की जीवनरेखा भी कहा जाता है. इस नदी के किनारे बसे संताल गाँवों में हम लोगों से मिलने पहुँचे. मिलने जुलने के इस क्रम में एक दिन नदी किनारे उनके साथ बेहतरीन समय बीता. इन आदिवासियों ने गुलेल से चिड़िया का शिकार किया और वहीं पर पकाया. नदी किनारे पके इस मीट का स्वाद किसी पाँच सितारा होटल के खाने से बेहतर था.
