Join me at Colorway Collective as I longarm quilt this sweet baby quilt for April, a first-time local customer. This soft checkerboard of pink and white low volume fabrics turned out adorable with the Nectar pantograph by Amy Bright. The delicate bees and honeycomb details really pop against the gentle tones.

For this project, I used Superior Omni thread in Candy Pink, which adds just the right amount of shine without overpowering the piecing. The batting is Winline Textiles Bamboo, a favorite for baby quilts because of its silky drape, lightweight warmth, and natural softness.

Watch from start to finish as “Fiona,” my Innova M24 longarm, stitches this quilt to life. From thread audition to final reveal, you will see how a thoughtful pantograph can turn a simple patchwork into something truly special.
