Story Synopsis:

In "Agaram" a south Indian Tamil movie, the protagonist "Thiru (Nandha)" along with his mother (Seetha), sister(Varshini), and grandma (Sukumari), has just moved into their new house in Tuticorin, which his father built when a by-election is scheduled due to death of the present MLA. "Pasupathy" a local rowdy tries to stick a poster on the wall of "thiru's" house, for the by-election, which leads to a fight between them. Varma (Biju Menon), Pasupathy, and politician (Ilavarasu) plan to kill thiru after the bye-elections. How do Thiru, his family along with his friends (Vivek and others) face this situation, throughout the rest of the story? The movie is action-packed with some good fight sequences from fight masters Kanal Kannan and Super suprayan. The movie was released in theaters in 2007. The music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Cinematographer Vetri, who has done films like Siruthai, Varalaru was introduced in this film. Art director Jacki was also introduced in this movie. The movie is written and directed by T Nagarajan. And it his 2nd movie after amma creations "aravindan"
