PEN Y FAN & CORN DU | Solo Hike In Winter | Brecon Beacons National Park

My first solo hike of 2023! Today's video is a half-day hike in the Brecon Beacons National Park to Corn Du and then on to Pen y Fan. I parked at the Storey Arms Car Park, and it took me just under 1.5 hours to get to the summit of Pen y Fan. It involves a fairly gradual ascent to the highest summit in South Wales of 886m, but the eventual views are most definitely worth it! I'd recommend giving yourself 2-3 hours at a minimum to enjoy this walk and even the entire day if you have the energy to go on further to the other main peaks in this central part of the Beacons.
