Sound generator and sweet ambient lighting aside, I fell in true love with the EV6’s sculpted sport bucket seats which hug you TIGHT (and are comfortable). Then comes the retuned and stiffer chassis, quicker adaptive steering, adaptive dampers, adaptive 15in front disc brakes, and a multi mode traction control & rear e-LSD… yeah this isn’t your typical put put electric car now is it..

All this means, and I can attest to this, that the EV6 GT handles WELL, very well. Even at around 4,800lbs, it knows how to manage its weight and it loves corner carving. Aside from the (quite) stiff ride in GT mode, you are rewarded with Drift mode, sending power to the rear wheels in a smoke induced frenzy….. Burn the “Kia” stigma out of your mind, get up, and go drive one. You will not, absolutely not, be disappointed…. You may end up wanting one as bad as I do too.
