Luna Lapin: Boxer Shorts for Alfie Lapin Sewalong/Tutorial

I thought it was time that Alfie Lapin had a little love and so using the French Knickers pattern from Book 1, I've made some boxers for Alfie that I think have turned out very smart.

(However, I've caused a little bit of a blooper that I didn't realise when I uploaded this video - CoolCrafting have a standalone pattern for Alfie's boxer shorts that has a working fly. I didn't realise this as I'd not seen it before I made these, so if you want a working fly on your boxers please look up that pattern at www.coolcrafting.co.uk and one day I'll make the corresponding video for that version too. Apologies to CoolCrafting!)

Complete with mock fly and decorative button, Alfie feels very grown up and fully dressed in his new boxers. You can also make these by following along in the video sewalong. The fly is positioned at 6cm down from the unsewn waistband and 3/4cm in from the centre front seam.
