Dr. McKee's Defense: No Forced Entry, No Motive, And A Surgeon Who Allegedly Kept The Murder Weapon

Michael McKee is a 39-year-old vascular surgeon with no criminal record. No malpractice. No disciplinary actions. His neighbors in Chicago described him as friendly, normal — the guy who chatted at the pool about the weather. Now he's sitting in an Illinois jail, facing four counts of aggravated murder, accused of killing his ex-wife Monique Tepe and her husband Spencer while their children slept in another room.
The prosecution has surveillance footage, a ballistics match, and an indictment alleging McKee used a suppressor. But there are still questions — and if you're the defense, those questions are where reasonable doubt lives.
How did McKee allegedly enter the home with no forced entry? Police confirmed there were no prior reports filed from the Tepe address about McKee — no 911 calls, no restraining orders, no documented conflict. There's still no disclosed motive.
