This week, we look at two important issues that are facing midwives, midwifery and maternity services.
And for many years, the issue of bullying has been cited as a problem within many spheres of society, including the NHS and midwifery, and still it seems that there is a problem. Why should that be and what can we do to address bullying and ensure that our service is caring and nurturing for our midwives, medical and student colleagues?
Amanda joins us to share the #saynotobullyinginmidwifery group, how they came about, what has been identified and how bullying is being tackled through giving bullied midwives and students the chance to have the final word that so far has been denied to them.
